    Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada is welcoming a full time, Board Certified Small Animal Surgeon to join our dedicated pet health care team.

    As our ideal Candidate, you have:

    • A valid DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada

    • Board Certification in small animal surgery

    • Strong leadership skills combined with a positive team player attitude

    • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills

    • Exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with your clients

    • Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure

    Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $180,000 to $250,000. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs. The annual salary range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.

    About us: Join us in providing state of the art veterinary care in our brand new 20,000 sq. Ft. facility. This hospital is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, CT and MRI imaging, radiation therapy, on-site diagnostic laboratory, and advanced monitoring equipment.

    Our Intensive Care Unit will enable us to provide patient support and pain and anesthesia case consultations for all internal cases, as well as critical case care on a referral basis. As part of the new facility, the West Coast Cancer Treatment Centre will utilize the latest innovations in veterinary diagnostics and treatment, including our LINAC for radiation therapy.

    Currently, our team includes 24-hour emergency care, as well as specialists in Dermatology, Radiation and Surgical Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, Critical Care, Neurology, Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine. We are seeking a second Surgeon to provide consistent and comprehensive patient and client care to our community.
