    Mercy Home Health, a member of Trinity Health at Home, has a need for a Full time RN WOCN Consultant for the greater Montgomery County and some areas in nearby NW Philadelphia County.

    What you will do:

    The WOCN is responsible to provide wound care to the patients of Mercy Home Health. Coordinates treatment to provide comprehensive wound care assessments and plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for patients. Provides patient, family, and staff education regarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces, dressing selections, and other therapies. Demonstrates ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills. Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy. Computer skills preferred. Previous experience in Home Care Setting preferred.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Graduate of an approved nursing education program

    • Current Wound Care Certification required -Certified wound, ostomy, and continence nurse (WOCN) required

    • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of PA

    • One (1) year experience as a professional care nurse

    • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred.

    • Must have current Driver's license and reliable transportation

    • Ability to work a weekend rotation once month & 2 holidays annually
