Desert Ark Veterinary CarePhoenix, AZ 85032

    Job #2680643781

  • We are actively looking for technicians that are interested in utilizing their skills, knowledge as well as be a part of a fantastic team. Are you the one?

A bit about us (Desert Ark Veterinary Care)

We are a full-service General Practice with a full-service Urgent Care running side by side. We offer our clients a total GP experience with cutting edge tools to make the medicine easier. Our urgent care is that step away from not being a full emergency and allows us to help more pets that may not need the emergency type center. Our facilities are equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house labs, endoscopy, cold laser therapy, and CT (how would you like to be able to provide a dental CT on every patient?). We strive to provide staffing to make your days smoother (our goal is 3-4 techs per doctor). We're focused on making sure our hospital has the right tools to allow our doctors the ability to provide excellent service and care.

Are you who we are looking for?

Come work where technicians are an integral part of the entire patient visit. If you enjoy a well-structured day, we provide the right candidate the opportunity to provide excellent care to a steady consistent clientele within our general practice setting. The technician team is responsible for all things from history taking, administering medications as directed, dentistry, anesthesia and monitoring, surgical assisting, recovery, and discharges. Or perhaps you like a bit of no two days are alike. For those day-to-day change ups and challenges our Urgent Care service is for you. And you want both? Not a problem! We love flexibility (in fact it is a characteristic the ideal candidate should have) and strive to provide a balance.

If you are a drama llama – please do not apply – we are a drama free practice.

Are you a new (or newer) technician graduate seeking mentorship as you grow in this career path? We have strong leadership and an on-boarding process that allows you to grow in a controlled setting (no throwing you in the fire immediately).
