  • VCA Jones Road Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team.

    This is a vital role in our hospital and works closely with other Associates in a team atmosphere.

    VCA Jones Road is an AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor, fast-paced practice offering general practice and Urgent Care in Houston, Texas, while providing excellent medical and customer service.

    We are looking for a motivated Veterinary Technician or Registered Veterinary Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys learning/teaching, problem-solving, clear communication, and has the skill set to provide high-quality medicine for our patients. The technician/RVT must have prior experience in taking radiographs, dentistry, oral radiographs, surgery prep, induction/intubation and monitoring patients while under anesthesia for cats and dogs.

    • catheter placement

    • surgical preparation and assisting

    • patient recovery

    • compassionate care for our hospitalized patients

    Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma.

    • Certified or Registered Technician status or equivalent practice experience of at least 3 years.
