Veterinary Technician Assistant

Busy state-of-the-art five doctor AAHA certified Veterinary Hospital and Pet Resort in Escondido is seeking experienced technician assistant with 1-2 years of veterinary experience. You will work closely with the clients, patients and doctors to provide the best care for the pet and exceptional experience for the client. This is your opportunity to work in the most important area of the hospital with all kinds of pets. If you love exotic pets or a holistic approach to medicine, we have doctors who would love to work with you. We specialize in dogs, cats, bunnies, birds and other exotics.

Responsibilities

-The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to: Providing support to the entire veterinary hospital staff. Ensure there is a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients. Ensuring that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stocked. Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinations. Keep accurate records and logs. Sterilize equipment. Observing patients for obvious signs of health concerns and reporting any findings to senior staff.

We are a full-service facility offering Preventative/Routine medical care, Urgent medical care, diagnostic testing, surgical and dental services.
