In addition, Cedars-Sinai serves the community through its Medical Network, which includes the highly rated Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health ~~~ a per diem Therapy Aide at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will assist in patient related tasks that may include transportation, preparation and assisting patient care, and/or assist with the application of modalities and procedures according to the prescription of the physician and as delegated by the primary therapist of the same discipline. Non-patient related tasks include maintenance of area, monitoring of equipment and supplies, and clerical duties. Therapy Aide will assist in divisional growth and cohesiveness to ensure a high quality of patient care consistent with Practice Act; Scope of Practice; Code of Ethics; the Plan for the Provision of Care to Patients, the Performance Improvement Plan and Patient Education Plan. Competency skills include the ability to provide care while maintaining a safe environment, utilizing appropriate communication with sensitivity and attention to special populations, including patients with diverse cultural backgrounds, age, developmental issues and physical disabilities.The Therapist Aide -Per Diem is considered employed on an at-will basis with no guarantee of scheduled hours. Scheduling is done based on staffing need and availability. The Therapist Aide -Per Diem staff member is expected to be available a minimum of 16 hours per month.Education:?
