Who We Need:

We're looking for helpful associates who don't want to be tied to a single location. You will frequently travel between several local branches and pitch in when needed. Our "regional tellers" are critical, full-time teammates who make sure nearby bank branches are ready to serve customers when they're ready for us. We'll provide on-the-job training in teller skills. Hiring immediately!

Your Typical Day:

• Welcome all bank visitors with a warm and friendly smile

• Listen to customers and understand their needs

• Educate customers on products and services

• Accurately and efficiently process teller transactions

• Support operational needs such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfer, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and compliance-related tasks

• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand

• Complete other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Minimum of 6 months customer service experience, including either data entry or cash handling experience

• Able to travel between local bank branches, as needed

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Verbal communication, interpersonal skills, customer service, well-organized, time management, prioritization, comfort with technology (internet-user level)

• Bilingual ability is not required but is a strong plus depending on location
