  • Job Summary: Flu Program Nurses: RNs and LPNs Temporary: August/September through end of November or December 2020(Exact dates are probable to change) Must be able to work at least 3 shifts a week including Saturdays. Must have recent experience giving IM injections to the deltoid. Full Time and Part Time Opportunities Shift: Variable , Monday - Friday Day Shift - Start times vary between 6:00 am and 10:00 am (8, 10 and 12 hour shifts available) Complimentary parking Location: Variable - Main Campus and East Regional Hospitals. All team members go through an orientation program focused on the policies, procedures, standing orders, and documentation requirements of the Flu Program. In support of the organizational flu compliance program, provides services to the organization's employees in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities: + Performs clinical activities which include administering vaccinations. + Coordinates and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees. Education: + Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Certifications: + Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio. + Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required. Complexity of Work: + Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills. + Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas. + Must work effectively with all health care disciplines. Work Experience: + None required. Physical Requirements: + Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. + Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. + Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range. + Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: active or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and /or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. + Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
