Registered Veterinary Technician

VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital in Bakersfield California is growing!

We are adding two doctors to our eight doctor 24hr Hybrid Emergency and General Practice. We support your career goals and have leadership opportunity currently with our growth. We are also seeking strong Technicians who can help with the growth expected by providing training based on their experience.

With the anticipated increase in patients, we are also looking for Technicians to support patient care nights and weekends.

You've worked hard for your credentialing and we want you to use the knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

• Venipuncture

• catheter placement

• radiology

• anesthesia monitoring

• physical examinations and patient assessment

• surgical preparation and assisting

• dentistry

• laboratory work

• pharmacy

• patient recovery

• compassionate care for our hospitalized patients

A competitive wage, 2 weeks of paid vacation, CE benefits, and professional development are offered. Compensation: $26 - 30 / hour negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
