REGISTERED NURSE-EMERGENCY ROOM

Burnett Medical Center is located in Grantsburg, WI. We are seeking a full-time ED Staff Registered Nurse.

Shifts & Hours

This position would include three 12-hour shifts on weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun, 7pm-7am). This position would be working 36 hours and being paid for 40.

JOB SUMMARY

The Staff Registered Nurse is accountable for the professional nursing functions of supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating direct patient care for all age spans. Demonstrate personal and professional growth and competent nursing practice.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATION

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to permit to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
• BLS certification required
• Current certification or eligibility to become ACLS,TNCC/CALS and Neonatal certified.

EXPERIENCE

• Basic ECG monitoring experience.
• Minimum of one-year experience in Medical/Surgical. Prior Critical Care and or Emergency Care experience preferred.

• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse people
• Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal directions/instructions

OTHER INFORMATION

• Must pass drug screen and physical therapy evaluation at the time of hire.
