OptumCare Anesthesia has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist in Las Vegas. OptumCare is a multi-specialty group of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants headquartered in the greater Las Vegas, area. OptumCare offers patients compassion, innovation, and quality care throughout Southern Nevada.

Job Highlights:

• Monday through Friday schedule. No nights, weekends, holidays or call responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia for general surgical cases, minor orthopedics with occasional nerve blocks, gastroenterology sedation, ophthalmology, dental surgery and gynecological cases. No OB or open heart

• Assessment of, consultation for, and preparation of patients for anesthesia

• Relief and prevention of pain during and following surgical, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted medical license in the State of Nevada or ability to obtain prior to employment

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

• Must have a valid DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment

Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Nevada residents is $398,360 to $521,400 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
