    Provides quality care to patients of all ages as defined in the ambulatory care nursing philosophy of Essentia Health. Performs tests and procedures and assists ophthalmologists or optometrists in providing quality eye care. Work Experience: Combination of 1 year clinical or clerical healthcare related work and customer service experience.

    No educational requirement.

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    CPR-certified or must obtain within 1 month.

    Current JCAHPO certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant required within 1 year of hire or transfer.

    $17.04 - $23.41 / hour

    The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
