    Position Purpose

    Saint Mary's Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our mission-driven Inpatient Acute Care Rehab Team.

    The Occupational Therapist performs evaluations, direct patient treatment and provides documentation for patients of all ages (adolescent, adult, geriatric) referred for occupational therapy.

    You Will Be Responsible For:

    • Provides full scope of direct and clinical services necessary to maximize the care for patients of all ages.

    • Appropriately communicates results of assessment or treatment program including written and/or verbal means.

    • Aggressively works with patient, family, care provider to communicate patient status and progress, as well as providing adequate training

    • Develops and maintains advanced clinical skills, including acknowledged area of expertise and multi-site/unit clinical service diversification.

    • Maintains appropriate communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to facilitate problem solving, program planning and education

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Graduate of an AOTA accredited school.

    • Current State of CT license.

    • Excellent communication Skills
