  • We have excellent local contract positions available for Medical Lab Technologist in a state-of-the-art healthcare system in Missouri. 

    Medical Lab Tech

    Location: St. Peters, MO, St. Louis, MO, St, Farmington, MO, North St. Louis County, MO, Alton, IL

    Job Description:

    Performs specimen processing and routine / complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges.
    Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities as required. Demonstrates good laboratory practice.


    Prefer knowledge of any of the following lab analyzers:

    Roche Cobas chemistry analyzers
    IL ACLTOP Coag analyzers
    Sysmex XN Hematology analyzers
    Radiometer Blood Gas analyzers
    Ortho Provue Blood Bank analyzers
    LIS Cerner Millennium computer system


    Candidate must have experience in at least one of the following areas:

    Automated Blood Cell Analyzers, Automated Urinalysis, or Automated Coagulation.
    Associates Degree, MLT ASCP or equiv
    1 to 5 years’ experience preferred.
    Prefer someone with LIS Cerner Millennium experience as well as experience with the following analyzers: Roche chemistry, Sysmex Hematology and Radiometer blood gas.
    Prefer Microbiology experience.
    Position could work a mid-shift or evening shift.
