    Description:

    Position Purpose

    Contribute to efficient operations of the SMH Imaging Services Department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.

    What you will do

    • Organize and coordinate all daily activities and workflow of the Interventional Radiology Department

    • Assign daily room assignments, vacation, holiday and monthly work schedules for technical and ancillary staff

    • Completes performance evaluations annually for all IR staff, with oversight from the Clinical Manager

    • Works directly with the Imaging Services Charge Guardian to ensure appropriate charging

    • Develops policies and procedures relative to the organization and the IR Department

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Completion of Certified Radiological Technology program

    • ARRT Certification

    • Vascular Interventional Radiology Certification

    • Associates degree preferred

    • Five years working in a Radiologic Technologist capacity

    • Two years supervisory leadership experience in Interventional Radiology preferred

    • Connecticut State license as a Radiology Technologist
