Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to lead our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing and treating various dental conditions to ensure optimal oral health, and deliver the highest standard of care in our office, while leading our team of dental assistants and hygienists.

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental examinations and assessments to identify oral health issues

- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs

- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals

- Conduct routine cleanings and preventive treatments to maintain oral health

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques

- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (such as Denticon)

- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development

Experience:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school

- Valid state dental license in good standing

- Proven experience in general dentistry, including pediatric dentistry

- Proficiency in medical terminology, dental office procedures, and medical coding

- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnosis

- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff members

Requirements

Active Colorado Dental License

DEA License

Three or more years of Clinical hands-on experience

CPR-ACLS Certification

Denticon software experience is a plus

Salary Description

$150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
