    Job Description :

    The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is building the future in their Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to their network. We are recruiting full time Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our growing team.

    Job Duties:

    • Providing a wide range of high quality Musculoskeletal interpretative and procedural skills.

    • Participate in a division with both academic and community site service lines across multiple hospitals and imaging centers.

    • The position will primarily focus on Musculoskeletal subspecialty cases, with some contribution to general diagnostic radiology. There is no mammography, IR, or nuclear medicine responsibility.

    • Expectations include supervision of trainees and physician extenders as well as education to residents and fellows.

    • Provide services to robust sports medicine program that services the regions professional, collegiate, and high school teams.

    • Perform image guided biopsies.

    • Call and weekend coverage is shared equally across the group.

    • Equipment includes 14 CT scanners, including 64 slice dual source CT, 128 slice CT, multiple 64 slice CT scanners, dedicated procedure CT scanners, and 16 slice PET CT. Computed and digital radiography. Twelve 1.5 Tesla magnets. Up-to-date ultrasound equipment at all sites, mostly Philips EPIQ units.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology.

    • Successful completion of fellowship training in the subspecialty of Musculoskeletal imaging is desired.

    • Participate in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required.

    • Pennsylvania Medical License

    • PhD/MD Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

    • Completion of accredited residency and fellowship if required by specialty

    • Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate
