Gastroenterologist

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Licensed Gastroenterologist to join a hospital system in Derby, CT. This individual will be working primarily in an outpatient setting, joining a team of 4 other Gastroenterologists. They will be responsible for treating acute and chronic illnesses, performing diagnostic tests, creating treatment plans, collaborating with other clinical teams, and performing procedures at the hospitals endoscopy center. This position does qualify for relocation assistance.

This position is primarily 8-5 in an outpatient setting however there is a 1 in 4 on call rotation for the weekends at a medium sized hospital in the area.

Skills and Requirements

Graduation from accredited medical school (MD or DO)

Board certified or board eligible (or new grads) in Gastroenterology required

Valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one

Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate Experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting with Gastro null
