    Position Overview:

    Plans, develops, coordinates and directs the operation of a clinical nursing program. Oversees the execution of procedures and adherence to proper protocols and develops and/or administers performance improvement initiatives for the program. Assumes responsibility for program quality and compliance, and the education and competency of nursing staff. Serves as a clinical and educational consultant to the nursing staff, medical staff, management, patients and other members of the health care team regarding the program. Provide direct patient care as needed, on an irregular basis.

    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

    RN-Registered Nurse of California

    BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

    DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

    Affiliate: California Pacific Medical Center, Department: Healing Elder Life Program (HELP), CNGNP-Certified Gerontological Nurse Practitioner OR Affiliate: California Pacific Medical Center, Department: Healing Elder Life Program (HELP), RN-Registered Nurse of California OR Affiliate: California Pacific Medical Center, Department: Healing Elder Life Program (HELP), ANCC-Gerontological Nursing Certification

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN

    5 years experience in clinical with demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities in area of specialization.

    5 years experience in performance improvement, case reviews, and audits in an acute care hospital setting.

    5 years experience in adult education, group facilitation and leadership.

    5 years experience in program management in healthcare environment.

    Pay Range is $83.32 to $109.98 / hour

    The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
