Certified Medical Assistant

OB/GYN and URO Experience preferred but not required!

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in patient care by supporting providers in delivering efficient, compassionate, and comprehensive services. From intake to follow-up, you'll ensure each patient receives the highest level of care and attention during their visit.

Job Description:

• Greet and prepare patients for exams and treatments

• Collect vitals, perform clinical intake, and document accurately in real time

• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures

• Administer medications as ordered by the provider (if certified)

• Perform administrative duties including insurance verification, copay collection, and scheduling

• Ensure patient safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, AHMG policies)

• Travel to nearby satellite offices, if required

• Support the mission and values in every interaction

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program

• Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following:

• AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA

• Current CPR certification

• Strong communication, multitasking, and EMR documentation skills
