Hospira currently has an opening for a Validation Engineer at our McPherson, KS location.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates the activities of the validation program
Maintaining list of re-validations
Schedules the qualifications with involved departments
Collect, review and summarize the data in a final report
Assist validation analysts in revising existing qualification procedures
Completes new product validation checklists
Coordinates change control and keeps the validation tracking system updated
Assist in writing and executing laboratory instrument and computer/software, PLC qualification protocols
Requirements:
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in technical field (engineering, microbiology, chemistry, pharmacy, etc.) or Non-Technical Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience in validation or validation related activities
Experience includes execution of validation in any of the following areas: sterilization, preparation, filling, engineering, laboratories, compounding, equipment, and/or computers
Must have knowledge of GMP and validation guidelines
Requires good interpersonal, technical writing, and communication skills
Knowledge of computers with the following software is necessary: Word, Excel, and Access. Successful applicant should have experience in computer/software and/or laboratory instrumentation
