Description
Qualified candidates must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current NY RN license. Candidates must have BLS or obtained within 3 months of hire. ACLS, PALS, IV, and phlebotomy certified within 6 months of hire. Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and be defibrillation certified with in 3 months of hire. Must be IV, medication and phlebotomy certified. Previous critical care and charge experience preferred. Must have the ability to identify and intervene in life threatening situations. Demonstrates active committee participation and leadership. Organizational ability. Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and management/leadership skills. Must possess and demonstrate knowledge of the growth and development and means to provide appropriate care to the varied age groups, pediatric to geriatric, to whom health care is provided.
