Job Details: POSTED: 3/2/2011 Under the direction of the Ultrasound Team Leader and within established hospital and department policies and procedures, operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Interacts with those within any of the following populations: pediatric, adolescent, pre, intra, anti-partum, adult, geriatric and with those of adult age on an inter-disciplinary level; must be able to effectively interact appropriate to individual's intellectual level and physical ability. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification required. Must meet registry requirements and be certified as an RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) within six (6) months of hire or position is forfeited. Current CPR certification required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: One (1) to three (3) years experience as an Ultrasound Technician required.
