Description: POSITION SUMMARY: Selects appropriate ultrasound settings and transducer(s) for imaging adult/pediatric organs based on the size of the patient and the objective of the examination. Performs sonographic imaging according to set protocols using real time (two-dimensional), or Doppler display modes. Able to recognize and identify the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal findings, anatomic structures, physiology and hemodynamics of the vessels. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of formal Ultrasound training from an AMA approved school and/or meets requirements for registry by the ARRT or ARDMS . Registry/ certification must be obtained one year from employment. CPR Certified.
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years experience in diagnostic ultrasound
