Ultrasound Tech Department: Ultrasound Schedule: on-call: as needed Shift: Variable shift Hours: variable Salary $34.74 FTE 0.00000 Job Details: * Process/Role Mission: Ultrasonographers are trained, registered and/or registry eligible with ARDMS to perform technical, physical and social functions needed in the Imaging Department under the professional guidance of a Radiologist, and as written in Department and Hospital policy and procedure manuals. The Ultrasound Tech is dedicated to providing quality service in a timely, courteous, and cost effective manner. Position Prerequisites: ARDMS registered or registry eligible. Previous experience in a hospital is desirable. Must have good understanding of the equipment all procedures performed routinely in a hospital imaging department. Continuing education is necessary. Able to perform general and OB ultrasound procedures.
