Training Specialist Sr
Title: Training Specialist Sr Location: TX-San Antonio SUMMARY: The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for 1) the facilitation of classroom training and the evaluation of its effectiveness through post training observations and makes recommendations for improvements to training and processes, 2) develops classroom training using the Instructional System Design Process and will identify potential training gaps, and 3) assist in the development of improvement tools and coordinate with Operations Training Department to schedule implementation of improvements.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provides system training to individuals in Field Service · Consults with Field Service and makes appropriate recommendations for improvements assist in facilitating suggested recommendations · Organizes the rollout of complex Framed and non-framed therapy systems · Formulate the development of training material · Provides reports to training management and operations management. · Supports end users as the first line of defense for product and process questions. · Serves as a primary source for reception and first step of resolutions for field Hot Topics · Draft s job aides for review and approval by Operations Training Department · Notifies the Training Department of any potential training gaps · Provides on-going feedback in Management and QA meetings · Facilitates classroom training · Observes new and veteran users and makes recommendations to individuals to ensure users are employing the most efficient, effective and compliant protocols based on the training documents. · Develops training control documents, objectives and tests. · Works with management and Regional business analysts to assist in determining which processes require training. · Works with multiple departments to determine which enhancements require training as · well as training design required for future product launches. · Develops competitive edge training programs as needed · Provides Management information on best practices as observed · Provides training to Leads/Supervisors. · Assists with transition of New Hire Graduates · Refers procedural questions to Leads/Supervisors · Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as may be deemed suitable and assigned by management. · Conform to, supports and enforces all Company policies and procedures REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelors Degree in Business or related field · At least 6 years experience in a training environment · Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATION · Demonstrated presentation and communication skills · Knowledge of performance based evaluation · Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills · Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be self directed · Knowledge of systems work and how they connect · Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude. · Demonstrated ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
