Florida Mentor is seeking a
Therapist to provide psychotherapy to individuals to aid a client or consumer in problems of living with the goal of increasing an individual's sense of their own well-being. Therapists employ a range of techniques based on experiential relationship building, dialogue, communication and behavior change that is designed to improve the mental health of a client or patient, or to improve group relationships (such as in a family).
Qualifications Requirements: - Master degree in human services field with at five years of experience working with children and families who are victims of physical abuse, neglect, or youth who have been adjudicated delinquent and committed and are emotionally disturbed.
- Must provided a current (within the last 2 years) list of conferences, workshops, attended and Continuing education units (CEU) earned dedicated to relevant child and family treatment issues.
- Previous experience working with persons who have development disabilities is required.
