Therapeutic Development Specialist Canada - Quebec City Sales Mississauga Ontario, Canada
Bachelor's degree in Business or Science; minimum of 5 years sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry preferably with 2+ years Oncology/Hematology experience. Candidates with an allied health diploma (nursing, radiology, etc.) in a related field who have a minimum of 7 years sales or medical affairs experience in the pharma/biotech industry will be considered as well. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Promotion and sales of company products within a defined territory or region. 2. One-to-one communications with physicians and other health care professionals in support of approved indications. 3. Provide education and assistance in the appropriate usage of company products. 4. Territory analysis of past and present sales trends and costs. 5. Prepare and implement a comprehensive business plan for territory. 6. Organizing promotional speakers programs in territory in partnership with CSELs and outside vendors. 7. Provide customer support in the implementation and management of the Celgene product portfolio Risk Management Program. 8. Territory financial management and reporting. 9. Assist in pre-market development and advocacy mobilization. 10. Identifying, building relationships with and influencing key reimbursement stakeholders (Government, physicians, patient advocacy groups) in accordance with the company's reimbursement plan. 11. Champion Celgene lls/Knowledge Required:1. Proven pharmaceutical sales track record that demonstrates top sales accomplishments. 2. BS in Business or Science; 5+ years sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. 3. Ability to develop and effectively manage new and existing customer relationships. Such relationships include key Hematology Oncology clients (Physicians, nurses, health authorities) and reimbursement stakeholders. Existing strong relationships are a big plus. 4. Demonstrates the ability to understand and communicate technical clinical material clearly and effectively. 5. Demonstrates understanding of Hematology / Oncology therapeutic area, products and marketplace. 6. Has a passion for the Hematology / Oncology business and understands the importance of the patient. 7. Drive to succeed and ability to adapt rapidly to an evolving and challenging entrepreneurial environment. 8. Demonstrates superior knowledge of local healthcare system processes including reimbursement. 9. Has the know how to plan and execute effective and successful CME activities. 10. Possesses a strong work ethic, ability to set priorities and manage time appropriately. 11. Demonstrates innovation and the ability to integrate innovative concepts from others into local plans. 12. Works with all members of the team appropriately in order to accomplish corporate and individual objectives.
