Position assists the Department Manager and Supervisor in the coordination, education and daily operations of the lab technical, nursing, and support staff to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the performance of procedure related services. The CV Department Educator/Quality Assuarnce Coordinator understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Health & Hospitals, inlcluding the HVS Division.
: Prefer two years of experience in a Technical Director/Team Leader role. Will consider 3-5 years of direct professional experience in clinical setting directly related to area of specialty. : Graduate of an accredited school of Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound and/or Cardiac Ultrasound required with appropriate registry in adult and pediatrics. Preference is for an Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field along with appropriate speciality registry. Will consider 3-5years of direct professional experience along with appropriate specialty registry in lieu of a Degree. Graduate of an accredited school of Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound and/or Cardiac Ultrasound required with appropriate registry in adult and pediatrics. Preference is for an Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field along with appropriate speciality registry. : Current ARDMS registry as RVT, RCS, and/or RDCS in the state of North Carolina with no substantiated findings. Certified in BLS and/or ACLS.
