Provides Cardiopulmonary Services to neonate, infant, child, teen, adult and geriatric patients through administration of therapeutic gases and drugs, and by setting up and monitoring ventilators and other devices. Performs EKG's and other diagnostic procedures. Supervises overall operations of the department in the absence of the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services. REQUIRED: High School graduate. Associate degree in respiratory therapy or completion of an approved educational program for Respiratory Therapy, registered or registered-eligible. If registered-eligible, must become registered within one (l) year. CPR certified. Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to the age groups of the patients with whom she/he will be assigned. PREFERRED: Registered Respiratory Therapist. ACLS, PALS, NALS, certified. Additional Information
Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required. Rotating Shifts may be required.
