Airborne Risk Assessment: ? 1 -at risk: Involved in procedures such as sputum induction, administration of aerosolized pentamidine, bronchoscopy, caring for post bronchoscopy patients, endotracheal intubation or suctioning, autopsies, and care of patients known or suspected of having tuberculosis. Job Summary/Purpose: Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice and provides leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Leads safety and quality initiatives, focus and simplifying workflow, and development of staff, under the direction of the Clinical Director/Manager.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate from an accredited college of nursing or university Associates Degree required, BSN preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years recent clinical experience, with clinical and technical knowledge of the specific work being performed required. Previous supervisory/charge experience preferred.
Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Obtains EKG in 6 minutes for those identified patient populations 8. Performs swallow study before oral medications or oral intake on those potential/probable stroke patients as well as those with mental status changes. Or keep NPO. 9. Administers antibiotics within 6 hours of triage in those patients with pneumonia. 10. Can describe or demonstrate knowledge of process to define a problem 11. Evaluates alternative solution. 12. Develops action plans to include implementation timelines and keeps manager/team informed of progress of action plan. 13. Implements plan utilizing benchmark measurements. 14. Measures and evaluates results. 15. Assists with root cause analysis investigations. Performs Human Resource Functions including Customer Service skills
