Position assists the Department Manager and Supervisor in the coordination, education and daily operations of the lab technical, nursing, and support staff to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the performance of procedure related services. The CV Department Educator/Quality Assuarnce Coordinator understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Health & Hospitals, inlcluding the HVS Division.
Experience Requirements : Prefer two years of experience in a Technical Director/Team Leader role. Will consider 3-5 years of direct professional experience in clinical setting directly related to area of specialty. Education Requirements : Graduate of an accredited school of Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound and/or Cardiac Ultrasound required with appropriate registry in adult and pediatrics. Preference is for an Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field along with appropriate speciality registry. Will consider 3-5years of direct professional experience along with appropriate specialty registry in lieu of a Degree. Hours of Work : Primarily Mon-Fri 8:00 am-4:30pm; will require late evening coverage until 7:00 pm as needed.
