Description Supervisor of Pathology on Shift 2 and 3 to ensure completion of workload for Phlebotomy and Clinical Laboratory, to maintain efficient and effective operation of the Laboratory and to provide quality patient care. Minimum Job Qualifications Minimum Education: Four Year Degree. Minimum years in field previous to employment: 1. SBB(ASCP)preferred Blood Bank experience and strong serology skills required.
Four years of college with a BS/BA degree and certification as a Medical Technologist - ASCP, ASMT or equivalent. Three years of clinical experience as a Medical Technologist; one year may be substituted with a Master's Degree. One year of supervisory experience. Good oral communication skills to provide guidance and direction to staff, to assist hospital staff, patients, and visitors. Licensure, Certification and/or Registration: MT(ASCP) or equivalent.
