Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of primary patients according to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital's professional practice model. This individual demonstrates increasing competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting. Minimum of 1 year's experience in oncology.
Education: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a program at an accredited School of Nursing.
Licensure: Froedtert Chemotherapy certification required within 6 months of hire; OCN certification within 12 months of hire; Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
