Sleep Study Tech Department: GSRMC Neurodiagnostic Schedule: Casual Shift: Night Hours: 1830 - 0700 Weekend Required: Rotating Job Details: * Performs patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing, and records overnight polysomnagraphic (PSG) and video recordings of patient's sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation. Communicates and coordinates activities with Sleep Lab Section leader/supervisor. Administers sleep medications per policy.
Graduate from an AMA approved college program or one (1) year experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics or respiratory therapy required. Healthcare Provider BLS required. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the BRPT within 18 months of hire required.
