Senior Training Specialist for 74/76 Manufacturing Operations
The Senior Training Specialist will be part of the 74/76 Purification Operations team, working closely with the Manufacturing Specialists. The individual in this position will act as the liaison with the Training Department to establish compliant training practices in the department. The individual will develop and implement the new hire orientation for Purification. This individual will work with internal personnel to assess needs, develop and/or acquire curriculum, tools to measure effectiveness and other projects, as assigned. This individual will also assist in the development of organizational strategies and training programs to enhance organizational effectiveness, including interacting with personnel from other departments as needed. This individual will be responsible for compiling and reporting training metrics, including trainee performance against set training plans and metrics on operator error deviations. The individual will be responsible for working with Supervisors and Managers to drive down deviations through effective training and more robust systems/processes. This individual must be action oriented, results driven and motivated to perform at a very high level.
This position will require night and weekend work to interface with evening and weekend shift personnel.
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences / Engineering and 5 - 8 years of prior training experience in a cGMP environment. Must demonstrate project management, industry process knowledge, solid communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should demonstrate good technical writing skills, critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail and developed communication skills. Candidates with Purification experience preferred.
