Summary
Our client is an insurance company dedicated to reducing the cost of risk associated with the property and liability exposures of high net worth individuals and families. This position encompasses launching Client in a defined territory, then developing that territory to profitably achieve revenue targets through deep partnerships with a select group of independent agents.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and execute territory sales & marketing plans for states in defined territory, including ID, OR, WA, WY, MT. (Some states already live, some forthcoming.)
Oversee prospecting, prequalification, and selection of agent partners with strong sales cultures and specialization on HNW clientele
Development of strategies and action plans with agent partners that result in mutual growth and achievement of revenue goals.
Collaborate with corporate partners to ensure appointed agents are anxious and equipped to sell the benefits of Client membership to their clients and prospects.
Conduct regular sales calls to agent partners in order to execute defined plans, measure progress, and achieve established KPI’s.
Act as a local company knowledge expert and as a client service resource in the marketplace.
Develop powerful relationships with centers of influence, including wealth managers, family offices, and trust & estate attorneys, that result in positive awareness of and referrals for Client.
Requirements:
Position Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of personal lines Property and Casualty insurance experience in, sales or marketing (underwriting exposure is a plus).
A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
Evidence of creating strong revenue growth a defined territory, and track record of achieving production quota.
A CPCU designation or progress towards completion is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility.
Working with high net worth clientele around personal lines.
Demonstrated the ability to lead and inspire others.
Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail, analytical and solid problem solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate integrity, exhibit team spirit and enthusiasm, and establish trust and credibility.
Agile learner who can quickly absorb information and apply it to current business situations.
Frequent travel in defined territory.
