Up to $4,000 Sign On and $4000 Retention Bonus for Full Time available! POSITION SUMMARY: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who performs patient assessment, develops, implements and evaluates effectiveness of an interdisciplinary plan of care for patient populations with various diagnoses. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals. Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students and volunteers, as appropriate. Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the institution. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS: At least one (1) year of CVOR experience (2+ years preferred). Must be able to scrub Must be able to take call. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. LICENSE: Current CA RN license required (TL okay) CERTIFICATION: Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (healthcare provider) required upon hire. *Acceptable CPR cards include: 1.
