RN/Shock Trauma PACU
The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, a division of the University of Maryland Medical Center, a Magnet-designated facility, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a desire to join our premier multidisciplinary team in the Shock Trauma Post Anesthesia Care Unit (STC-PACU). Here at the largest free-standing trauma hospital in the United States, we focus upon one mission- providing the best care to the most seriously injured from across the region, across the country and from around the world. The RN provides an advanced level of care to patients presenting for emergency, urgent, or elective surgery in the Trauma Center OR.
The successful candidate will hold Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or eligibility for licensure in the state. At least two (2) years of applicable clinical RN experience in a comparable setting or experience in a critical care unit is required. The position offers a full time, 12 hour rotating shift schedule.
