RN Per Diem - MGMC Department: Maternal/Child Health- W Schedule: Per Diem Shift: Variable shifts Hours: Per diem; variable hours and shifts Job Details: * Current State of Maine RN license * Minimum 1 year experience required * Is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process. The Registered Professional Nurse assesses plans, intervenes and evaluates individual patient care. Also directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. May be required to work on other nursing units according to distribution of staff and patients.
Qualifications/Competencies: * Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact ( If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency toMaine. * BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire. * ACLS certification is preferred within 6 months of hire, if applicable. * Associate's degree in Nursing is preferred. * Up to 1 year RN experience is preferred. * Proficient in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.
