RN - PACU Posted: Jun-23-2010 Job Code: 464 Department: PACU Schedule: Casual Shift: Variable shift Hours: Job Details: POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the designated coordinator, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Develops and participates in the care plan of the patient.
Current, valid Nevada RN licensue required. BLS & ACLS certification required. Previous experience working in PACU or a minimum of two (2) years critical care nursing experience required. Call required. Conscious Sedation self-study completed within 1 month of hire. This position is 12 hour shifts, potentially any day of the week between the hours of 0730 & 2200,
