To provide sasfe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing

the nursing process. The Open Heart Step Down Registered Nurse

also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned

personnel delivering said patient care.

Required Job Qualifications include:

• Current FL licensure as an RN.
• Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia course with a minimum of 16 hours

  of didactic instruction required.
