Summary:
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Requirements:
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Participates in performance improvement initiatives as appropriate Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required. Two years of experience as a staff registered nurse is required for PRN and RN. Previous clinical experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification Basic Life Support Certification Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida required
