**This position is located at St. Josephs Hospital in West Bend WI a member of Froedter & Community Health.**
**Must have Special Care Nursery Experience**
Summary: The New Life Center at St Joseph’s Hospital is Washington County’s leading birth center with more than 750 babies delivered annually. Convenient and comfortable the 14 room New Life Center offers tastefully appointed labor delivery recovery and post partum rooms a special care nursery and dedicated C-section suite. Their highly experienced nursing staff is trained to care for women needing special medications or hospitalization for weeks prior to delivery. As a member of the health care team coordinates the care of patients and families in cooperation with other health care providers to ensure the goals of the patient are met and mission of the hospital is carried out. Performs delivery of nursing care via the nursing process: Assessment (collection of data) problem identification (nursing diagnosis) planning nursing interventions and evaluation and updating of planning.
Education: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse
Licensure: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
