RN - Emergency Services Department: Emergency Room Schedule: Part-time Shift: Day shift Hours: 24 hrs/wk; 0645-1915; every other weekend/holiday rotation Job Details: * ACLS certification preferred * Current State of Maine RN license * PALS Certification preferred * Minimum 1 year experience required * Is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process. The Registered Professional Nurse assesses plans, intervenes and evaluates individual patient care. Also directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. May be required to work on other nursing units according to distribution of staff and patients.
Qualifications/Requirements: * Up to 1 year of current acute care RN experiencerequired; ER RN experience preferred. * Associate's degree in Nursing is preferred. * Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact ( If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency toMaine. * BLS certification required within 3 months of hire. ACLS certificationis required within 6 months of hire. * PALS andMOAB (Managemernt of Aggressive Behavior) certifications are both required within 1 year of hire. * Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
