RN - CCU Department: Nursing Critical Care Schedule: Part-time Shift: Night shift Hours: 24 hrs/wk; 7pm-7am; every other weekend & holiday rotation Job Details: * ACLS certification preferred * BCLS certification required * Current State of Maine RN license * IV Therapy competencies per policies and procedures * Minimum 3 years experience required * Is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process. The registered professional nurse assesses, plans, intervenes and evaluates individual patient care in an ambulatory unit according to unit policies and procedures. Also directs and guides patient teaching activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Accepts responsibility for the implementation of plan of care. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. A 11-bed unit providing intensive care - modified primary nursing.
