Respiratory Clinical Coord - 6355 Department: Respiratory Care - 421 Schedule: full time Shift: day/eve/night Hours: Variable Req Number: 25128 Job Details: Clinical Coordinator position for NICU/PICU area. Requires level of knowledge usually acquired through completion of AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy School; Bachelor's degree preferred; 3 years acute care clinical experience required. Registration required as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and PA Respiratory Care Practitioners license; ACLS, CPR and PALS certification required. Duties are to coordinate respiratory clinical services during day/night shifts to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and other health care personnel; identifies actual and/or potential problems which affect smooth operations of respiratory care and takes appropriate corrective action; allocates respiratory personnel to meet patient demands; guides/supports respiratory staff to facilitate effective patient care utilizing professional standards and practice that support patient centered care.
