Position Summary:
The certified Resident Care Assistant has primary responsibilities to provide direct care to an assigned group of residents. Care and interactions with residents are to reflect a manor, which promotes optimal independent function and quality of life for residents. This includes assistance with activities of daily living, helping residents participate in the daily activity program, escort to and from the dining room, light housekeeping , and assistance with incontinence communication, relationship building, and care of the Residents Environment. Observing and reporting of any issues involving resident, and or staff well-being. This position is directly supervised by the Resident Care Director or Licensed Nurse when the RCD is absent or not available.
Requirements
* Experience in providing assistance with personal care to older persons.
* Certificate of training as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Illinois
* CPR Certification
* Must be 16 years of age and older.
* Work well with seniors and understands the complexity of working with residents with dementia.
* Specific hours will include: 3pm-11pm and one shift every pay period will be 11pm to 7am.
