Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the procedures and data review associated with the In-Life portion of studies described in the study protocols conducted at MPI Research.
(Duties & Responsibilities – purpose of the function and result to be accomplished) include but are not limited to those listed:
· Performs various routes of test material administration, daily.
· Performs precise body weight and food consumption measurements, regularly.
· Performs accurate clinical observations of animals based on a defined clinical observation glossary, regularly.
· Constantly communicates effectively with supervisors and fellow Research Associates.
· Accurately reviews all data collected on a daily basis.
· Occasionally performs various blood-sample-collection techniques.
· Completes all assigned events in validated system, 100% of the time.
· Punctual and reliable attendance according to MPI Research company policy.
Qualifications:
· HS / GED.
· BS in relevant field.
· Previous experience working with animals, preferred.
· Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
· Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions and including ability to learn a validated system.
· Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends,
extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
· Ability to work under specific time constraints.
