Functions as a member of patient care team in providing competent

care to patients according to their individual needs. Coordinates

patient care within their scope of practice and competencies.

**NO NEW GRAD PROGRAM CURRENTLY**

• Valid California RN license.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• National RN Certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of one-year acute care hospital experience.
• Critical Care or Telemetry experience preferred
• Computer literate
• Competencies are reflected by valid California RN license and are validated during preceptor/orientation process.
• Ability to perform CPR
• Ability to perform ACLS
• Ability to coordinate care with team members effectively through effective communication
• Ability to speak, read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Agility to bend, stoop, reach, pull, and push while performing direct patient care
• Acute Respiratory Management
• CHF Module
• Coronary Care Class.
• Vacuum Assisted Clousure (VAC)
• Glycemic Control
• Common ICU/HCU/PCU diagnosis
